The gate to your home is the gateway to your sanctuary and in our humble opinion, a gate is not just a gate! Different materials can be combined to create a fence and gate in a design that is uniquely yours.
Several different types of materials can be used for fence gates, so the choices are many. Here are examples of how we’ve used solid wood, pickets, panels and cast iron for gates in a precast concrete pillar fence. Whether you have a modern, contemporary or traditional home, there are many options to consider during the planning phase of your fence design.
Balcony and gate feature
A custom cast iron gate and balcony design was installed in this stunning contemporary home. The 250 pillar series frame a grand entrance with an ornate metal design complemented by a simple vertical fence infill.
Timber and brush fence make organic combination
For people who like to use natural materials, combining a timber gate with a brush fence is a lovely combination, adding street appeal in a subtle way that blends with surrounding landscapes. Less of a statement, more of a natural feel.
Tall privacy with a peak
This tall rendered fence infill is framed by our 250 series pillars for privacy, with a sneak peak of the home through a simple cast iron gate.
This lovely Tudor home has been well matched with a fence infill that was also extended to the gate. Geometrical designs perfectly match the peaked rood designs of this home.
Timber slats for timber lovers
There’s something quite beautiful about naturally stained timber and that’s exactly what these owners wanted. Combined with simple, large modern concrete pillars, stone masonry has also been used to add another texture.
The little red gate
A hedge infill framed with two pillars from our 350 Series frames makes creates this private fence, its highlight being the timber panel red door to enter the property.
Privacy and noise reduction
This fence has been specifically designed to keep out noise and to maintain privacy. The infill is solid rendered concrete and the ornate cast iron fence has an additional layer of metal infill to secure the home from a noisy street.
Simple and welcoming
A modest gate to this lovely country home in the Barossa is both warm and welcoming. Framed by the 230 series of concrete pillars, the owners decided to keep it simple.
